Good job to those of you who participated in the recent candle/comfort food fundraising sale. Your enthusiasm is greatly appreciated. Orders will be arriving prior to Christmas break. They will come pre-packaged per student for easy disbursement.
Pasta collection has begun for the Pasta Dinner. Jake Wright should be commended for kicking off the collection by bringing in the first 5 boxes. We have only 170 to go!!! Please bring in your penne' pasta as soon as possible. Don't forget to check the "Pasta Meter" in the hallway upstairs.

Welcome back!!
The new school year is in full swing. Friends have been reunited, new teachers and classes have been introduced. We're off to what promises to be an exciting and productive year. It is important to remember that with each new year comes many new challenges and things to experience and learn. With focus and determination, I'm sure we can make this year a successful one. Remember to make good choices and apply what we often hear on our morning announcements, "Make it a good day (year) or not, the choice is yours!"
A new school year brings the creation of a new yearbook. Notices regarding advertising will be sent out within the next few weeks. 8th grade happiness ads wishing luck and success to the 8th graders will be available for parents and family members. Business ads to support our 2010 book are most welcome. Please see me or Mrs. Drechsel if you have any questions.
