May is a busy month for the 7th and 8th graders here at Oxford Central School.
On Wednesday morning, the 19th, we will be off to learn first hand about our nation's capital, Washington, DC. This year's 8th graders have an extremely busy itinerary which includes both a visit to the Whitehouse and the Pentagon. Some other highlights of our trip include a Capitol Tour, the Holocaust Museum, Arlington Cemetery, monument tour, Mt. Vernon and the National Zoo. Please contact me if there are any questions or concerns. All permission slips and outstanding payments are now due.
Monday, the 24th, at 5:30 pm there will be an informative meeting for parents and students about the 7th grade estuary studies field trip. Permission slip packets will be explained and distributed. Questions and concerns will be addressed at this time as well.
